FBA Fulfillment Cost per Unit and FBA Storage Cost per Month

Your FBA Fulfillment and Storage fees are based upon the product type and time of year. Do note that this does factor whether unit weight or dimensional weight is to be used in calculating your fulfillment fees. If dimensional weight is greater than unit weight and therefore being used in the fee calculation, the fee cell will turn yellow. For a more complete picture of your storage fees, we recommend running your fee assessment for January - September and then again for October - December to be sure that your product will be profitable at all times throughout the year.

COGS and Fees per Unit

This section allows you to factor your Cost of Goods (COGS) and other third party logistics (3PL) storage, shipping and handling costs.

True Advertising Cost of Sale (TACoS)

By adding your estimated monthly sales and monthly ad spend, we can calculate your TACoS, or True Advertising Cost of Sale, which is an estimated average of how much you spend on ads relative to your total revenue for the product. Be sure to only include the monthly ad spend for this one product and not for your entire catalog.

Profit

With all of the information given above, we can now calculate your total profit and profit margins per unit. Happy selling!

Амазон калькулятор. America Amazon Fees Structure

In the United States, Amazon accounts for almost 40% of retail ecommerce sales . So it makes sense to set up a store on Amazon.com and tries to reach more customers, but there are different fees which can get a little complicated.

The main Amazon fees are:

  • Referral fees
  • Closing fees (variable and fixed)
  • FBA cost (if you store your goods with Amazon)
  • FBA storage cost (if you store your goods with Amazon)

For professional sellers, there is a monthly fee and no monthly sales limit. There is a monthly sales limit of 40 units for individual sellers and each sale includes an additional fixed closing fee of $0.99.

The referral fee is calculated based on the total sales price, including the sale, shipping and gift wrapping prices. Referral and closing fees are based on the product category so both professional and individual sellers pay the same amount.

Some categories have a flat percentage and some have different charges on different portions of the total sales price.
Let's take an item listing in Collectibles - Coins as an example.
If the total sales price of the item is $500, the referral fee will be ($250 * 0.15) + ($250 * 0.10) = $62.50

Most product categories also have a minimum referral fee of 30¢ while some don't any minimum.
Some categories require prior approval before listing. For more information on referral fees, please refer to Amazon pricing page .

If you fulfil your orders through Amazon, you need to pay the FBA shipping cost and storage cost. There are also charges if your item is not sold over a certain period. Check out their long-term storage fees for more details.

  1. On the Manage Inventory page, select the products you want to sell through FBA.
  2. If you want to continue creating your shipment, click Convert & Send Inventory . If you want to keep adding inventory before creating your shipment, click Convert only .

Offer a product through both fulfillment channels

You can offer a product through both fulfillment channels—Fulfilled by Amazon and merchant fulfilled—simultaneously, by creating a unique SKU for each fulfillment channel rather than toggling a single SKU between the two channels.

To add a SKU for the second fulfillment channel:

  1. On the Manage Inventory page, select the arrow to the right of the product listing’s Edit button, and then choose Add another condition .
  2. On the Offer form, create a new SKU for the ASIN.
  3. For Fulfillment Channel , select the channel for the new SKU to use. For example, if the existing SKU is merchant fulfilled, select Amazon will ship and provide customer service for this SKU.
  4. Click Save and finish to begin the shipment creation process.
This method also allows you to create a marketplace-specific SKU for your North America Unified Account .
